Friday Sketch time!!!

Wow!  Those 2 weeks went FAST!  Time for a new sketch! First I love what Michelle did with the last one....check it out

She rocked it!

But alas, it is time for a new one!  I decided to sketch one out from one of the layouts I did from the flower crop!  If you haven't joined us for that there is still time!  Jump in there and check out all the tutorials we have for some awesome flowers!  All of them are easy and FUN!

This is a fun one and super easy!  I can't wait to see what you guys do with it!  Here is the layout I took the sketch from....

Flower Power Crop in Full Swing!

The May Flower Power Crop is hopping at Scrapbook Heaven!  Stop by the forum and take a peek at the incredible tutorials the Design Team has put together for flowers like this one by Susan:

Create a flower using any of the techniques and then use it on a project -- may be a layout, card or altered item. Link it to the appropriate forum post by Friday, May 28th at 4pm est and you could win a RAK!  Bring a friend along to play with you and you'll get more chances to win.  Read all the details here.

It is sketch time!!!

It is time for a new sketch!!!  YEA!

If you didn't create with the last one it is NEVER too late!  We keep them for a while on the boards!  Check them all out HERE.  And I know you wanna go see the awesome layouts that were created with the last one so GO CHECK THEM OUT!!! 

Okay...here is the next one....

hmmmmm.....what are you going to do with it?  Flip it....mirror it.....what ever you wanna do just do it!  We want to see your creations!

SCRAPBOOK HEAVEN DESIGN TEAM CALL!

Scrapbook Heaven is seeking designers.
Are you enthusiastic, fun, chatty, talented and a bit crazy? That's what we're looking for!

Submissions:
Submissions will be taken starting today, April 5, 2010 until May 1st/2010 at midnight EST.
Designers will be notified no later than than May 8th, 2010 by email, and possibly earlier. Be ready to start for the June 1st reveal.

Please include in your email:
1. Name, address, phone number
2. Link to your blog (if you have one) and any online galleries that display the scope of your work.
3. Tell us why we should choose you as a design team member, praise yourself up, this is your chance to show yourself off! Be creative!
4. Tell us a little about yourself.
5. Be sure to let us know if you have any strengths in blogging, tutorials, sketches, etc, or anything else that you could share!

Please submit:
~ 3 layouts
~ 1 card
~ one altered project with your email.
(We would love our DT members to be creatively well-rounded) )

Daily participation on the SH message board and gallery is a Requirement. We need the opportunity to get to know those applying for the position.

Designer requirements:

~ All designers will be required to participate on the forums daily-including leaving comments in the gallery and starting new posts.
~ Monthly crop participation includes creating a challenge and an example.
~ Kit Reveal-create at least 3 layouts using the SH kit (provided) Submit one challenge a month for the membership.
~ Participate in all online crops.
~ Participation on our Message Boards, Crops and in our galleries is a MUST. (This includes posting on the boards, leaving comments in the gallery, posting challenges/questions, moderating threads on our forum and encouraging others!)
There will be Design Team weekly requirements for hosting challenges, teaching classes (a how-to for an altered project or layout), posting the questions and featured layouts.

Kits are shipped on a rotating schedule.
DT members should use the SH DT blinkie and promote SH where ever and when ever possible! We want each DT member to be proud to be a Design Team Girl!

Please note that this is not a contest, so we are not necessarily looking for the BEST projects. Rather, we are looking for the best designers who fit into our friendly and encouraging community and are interested in helping us GROW and add new members to the site!

We would love to have you apply!
International designers welcomed. NOTE: Any international designer chosen will be responsible for extra shipping fees above standard US.

Sketchy Friday!

Wow!  You guys ROCKED the last sketch!  Thank you allll for playing along!  This next two weeks I challenge you to find a friend to play along!!!

Here it is.....Nothing fancy but I bet you guys can MAKE it fancy....and for those that go for the simple look this will be right up your ally!  

Here is what I did with it...

I moved the pictures to the other side and only used 2....but you can still see the basic sketch there!
